TV Has No Picture or No Sound – Quick Fix

This is usually caused by a connection issue, the wrong input source, or a minor software glitch. First, check that the HDMI or AV cable is securely plugged in, and switch the TV to the correct input source (e.g. HDMI 1). Turn the TV off, unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. No sound but picture is fine? Check the volume and make sure mute isn't active, and review the audio settings. If the screen stays black while the standby LED is lit, a software fault is likely the cause – a factory reset may help.
