Printer Not Printing – Simple Troubleshooting Steps

If your printer isn't responding, the cause is often a stuck print job, an outdated driver, or a lost connection. First, open the print queue: Windows key > Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, click your printer and select 'Open print queue'. Delete all waiting jobs there by right-clicking > 'Cancel'. Then turn off both the printer and PC, wait 30 seconds, and restart both. Make sure the USB cable is firmly connected, or that the printer is on the same Wi-Fi network as the PC. If the printer still isn't recognized, uninstall it under Printers & Scanners > Remove device and add it again; download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website if Windows doesn't find it automatically.
