Laptop battery not charging – what can I do?

Possible causes: Faulty power adapter, damaged charging cable, dirty or damaged charging port, outdated drivers, or a defective battery. **Steps:** 1) Check whether the power adapter and cable are intact (try a different adapter if possible). 2) Carefully clean the charging port with a dry cotton swab. 3) Restart the laptop and update the battery drivers via Device Manager. 4) If the battery is removable, take it out briefly and reinsert it. 5) If the problem persists, the battery may be defective – contact a qualified repair shop.
