No Picture via HDMI on TV – Console or PC Not Recognised

The problem is usually caused by a faulty cable, the wrong input selected, or HDCP compatibility issues. Steps: 1) Firmly unplug and replug the HDMI cable at both ends. 2) Use the Source/Input button on the TV remote to select the correct HDMI input. 3) Try a different HDMI cable, as cables are a frequent cause of failure. 4) Fully power off both devices, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on. 5) If available, try a different HDMI port on the TV. For graphics card PCs, lower the output resolution to a TV-compatible value (e.g. 1080p).
