Soundbar Won't Connect to the TV

Common causes include incorrect input sources, disabled HDMI ARC, or an erroneous pairing state. Steps: 1) Check that the HDMI cable is plugged into the ARC-labelled port on the TV. 2) In the TV menu, go to Sound → Audio Output and select the soundbar or 'HDMI ARC'. 3) Enable CEC/ARC in the TV menu (the name varies by manufacturer, e.g. Anynet+, Bravia Sync, or EasyLink). 4) If using an optical cable: switch the input on the soundbar to 'OPT'. 5) Restart both the soundbar and the TV. If using Bluetooth: put the soundbar into pairing mode and reconnect it via the TV's Bluetooth settings.
