Induction hob does not detect the pan – causes and solutions

Induction only works with pots and pans that have a ferromagnetic base – a simple test: a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan. If the base is too small (less than approximately 12 cm in diameter) or severely warped, the hob will not detect it. Clean the cooking zone sensor with a damp cloth to remove grease and limescale residue. If the problem persists with a compatible pan, there may be a fault in the control module – contact customer service. Do not use aluminium foil or bowls without an induction-compatible base.
