Pilling — Removing Bobbles from Sweaters or Shirts

Pilling is caused by friction, especially on synthetic fibers and soft knitwear. A fabric shaver (pilling razor) removes the bobbles quickly and safely: lay the garment on a flat surface, stretch the fabric slightly, and move the device over it in smooth, circular motions. Alternatively, a fine-toothed comb or a dedicated lint roller can also work. In future, wash prone items inside out in a laundry bag at low temperatures to reduce pilling.
