Plumbing & Water

Instantaneous water heater or boiler no longer produces hot water

Common causes include a tripped fuse, a faulty temperature sensor, or limescale buildup inside the unit. First, check the fuse in the fuse box and reset it if necessary. Press the reset button on the unit (often a red button), if one is present. Important: Any work on the electrical wiring or gas connection must be carried out by a qualified tradesperson. If resetting does not help, contact a plumber or customer service – opening the unit yourself can be life-threatening.
