Washing Machine Leaking – Water on the Floor

Possible causes include a blocked fluff filter, a faulty drain hose, a damaged door seal or too much detergent causing excess foam. Step 1: Switch the machine off immediately and unplug it from the mains – beware of electric shock risk when standing water is present. Step 2: Open the fluff filter (small access panel at the front bottom), collect the water and clean the filter. Step 3: Check the drain hose for kinks, cracks or loose connections. Step 4: Inspect the door seal for tears or foreign objects. If you suspect internal pipe damage or electrical faults, always contact a qualified repair service.
