Pressure Washer Has No Pressure – Cause and Solution

Typical causes are a kinked or excessively long inlet hose, a blocked nozzle, or a faulty inlet valve. First check that there is sufficient water pressure from the garden tap – the minimum flow rate is stated in the manual. Flush the nozzle with clean water or switch to a different nozzle. Run the unit briefly without the nozzle to bleed air from the pump. Warning: Never operate the pressure washer without a water supply – the pump will overheat and be damaged. If pressure remains weak, the pump may be worn and should be inspected by a professional.
