No sound on PC – what should I check?

Possible causes: Wrong audio output selected, muted volume, faulty speakers/headphones, or outdated drivers. **Steps:** 1) Check whether the sound is muted (volume control in the taskbar). 2) Try headphones or different speakers to rule out a hardware fault. 3) Right-click the speaker icon → **Sounds** → check that the correct output device is selected. 4) Update the audio drivers via Device Manager. 5) Restart the PC. If the problem persists, the sound card may be faulty – contact a technician.
