Drawer sticking and hard to open
The cause is usually wood swelling from moisture, warped runners, or dirty tracks. Pull the drawer out completely and clean the tracks with a dry cloth. Then lightly treat the sides of the drawer and the guide rails with a candle, beeswax, or fine sandpaper. For metal rails, apply a drop of silicone spray – avoid oil, as it attracts dust. Check whether the drawer has warped: lightly sand it or improve ventilation in damp rooms.
