Removing water stains and limescale marks from fixtures and tiles

Limescale spots are caused by hard water and are especially visible on chrome fixtures and dark tiles. Apply household vinegar (undiluted or as a vinegar cleaner) to the affected areas, leave it to work for 15–30 minutes, and wipe off with a soft cloth. For stubborn marks, place a cloth soaked in vinegar directly on the fixture. Caution: Do not use vinegar on natural stone (marble, limestone), as the acid will damage the surface. Use pH-neutral limescale removers suitable for natural stone instead. Regularly wiping down fixtures after use prevents new deposits from forming.
