Car mists up inside – windows constantly fogging

Misted windows are caused by excessive humidity inside the vehicle, often due to wet floor mats, a leaking door seal, or a blocked drain in the footwell. Check whether the floor mats or carpet are wet – water can collect through leaking door seals. Place a bag of dry rice or dedicated moisture absorbers inside the vehicle. Briefly switch on the air conditioning while driving: it actively removes moisture from the air. If seals are damaged or the drain is blocked, a specialist workshop should fix the root cause, as persistent damp can lead to rust.
