Hot Glue Gun Not Dispensing Glue
The glue stick is most often empty, incorrectly inserted, or the gun has not fully heated up yet. After switching the gun on, wait at least 3–5 minutes for the nozzle to reach full temperature. Check that the glue stick is inserted straight and fully – a stick sitting at an angle will block the feed mechanism. If old, hardened glue is stuck in the nozzle, hold the hot gun briefly over baking paper and press slowly until the plug is pushed out. Only use the stick diameter recommended by the manufacturer (usually 7 mm or 11 mm). Safety note: The nozzle reaches temperatures above 180 °C – never touch it, always rest the gun on the stand provided, and keep it out of reach of children.
