Smart Home Device Offline – How to Reconnect

Common causes include a brief Wi-Fi outage, a router restart, or a changed Wi-Fi password or channel setting. Disconnect the device from power for about 10 seconds, then restart the router and wait 2 minutes. Afterwards, check in the associated app whether the device reappears automatically. If not, remove the device in the app and add it again – make sure you connect to the 2.4 GHz network, as many smart home devices do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. If it still doesn't work, check whether the app's firmware is up to date.
