Smart Heating Controller No Longer Responding

The issue is usually caused by dead batteries in the thermostatic valve, a lost Wi-Fi/Zigbee signal, or a frozen gateway. Start by replacing the batteries in the thermostat (commonly AA or AAA). Then restart the gateway/hub by briefly disconnecting it from power. Check in the app whether the device shows as 'online' again, and re-pair it if necessary. If the heating is mechanically stuck or gas-related issues arise, shut down the system and contact a qualified heating engineer.
