Stand blender or hand blender won't start

Common causes: safety lock not properly engaged, appliance not fully assembled, or thermal overload protection has tripped. Steps: unplug the appliance and remove all parts, then carefully reassemble – many blenders will only start when the jug and lid are correctly locked in place. Check the plug and test in a different socket. If the appliance has been running for a long time beforehand, let it cool for 15–20 minutes so the thermal protection can reset. If it still does not work, contact customer support – repairs to the motor or electrics should only be carried out by a qualified technician.
