Tumble Dryer: No Longer Drying Properly – Lint Filter & Error Codes

A full lint filter is by far the most common cause of poor drying performance and can also trigger error codes such as F6 or E6. Remove the lint filter after every drying cycle (usually located behind the appliance door) and clean it by hand. On heat pump dryers, also check the heat exchanger (lower access panel) and clean it according to the appliance manual. Additionally, check whether the drain hose or condensation water container is full and empty it if necessary. Make sure the room where the dryer is installed is adequately ventilated. If an error code persists after following these steps, consult the manual or contact a customer service centre.
